I was hoping they would all come at the same time, but just by looking at them, you can see how much work has gone into them, so no wonder its taking her a while!

I did wonder about waiting for them all to arrive then sending them together, but after thinking about it it would be easier to send them to you as i get them, that way I'm not going to the post office with 50 packages all needing postage printed and then sending!

They havn't been done in any particular order, I've not got mine yet, so dying to see what little man's looks like! I will PM each member as I get their order, that way you all know to look out for them in the post.

Sorry again that its taking so long to sort out, but trust me, they're worth the wait!

Em. xxxx

New addition to family (13 replies)

We recently lost my beloved JRT Zen to Mast cell Tumor he was only 11years old. It was a dreadful day when the vet came to the house to put him out of his misery but it was the kindest thing to do - it is the last act of kindness, he will be deeply missed and I still think about the little chap every day. He was a real gem.
However I could not live in a house without a JRT so the search was on for he successor. As it happened the breeder where my old do Zen came from had just had a litter and there was one little boy available! The decision was made we visited the little felow and a date for collecton was made - we picked him up last Friday and he is fantastic!
The reason for this post? well, if anyone is in the same situation and cannot decide if it right to get another JRT my advice would be YES ! Hartley (named after JR Harley) has made so many people smile and he is only 7 weeks old ! He is not my old dog and will have his own way of doing things but he has made it easier to mourn my old dog who is now in a better place chasing Rabbits!

Potty training started as soon as he got home - he is doing v well !

We were greeted by the pups and their owners this morning with surprises for Daisy. Daisy received a new tug toy, a chewy bone and a new collar from her classmates. Daisy loves puppy school and she is the star puppy in her group. Daisy weighs in at 4 1/2 kilo and finally fits into her small harness. We have a Great Dane, a German Shepard, 2 Golden Retrievers, 2 Border Collies, a Pointer, a Rottweiler, a Visla, several mixed large breeds, Daisy and 2 other JRT puppies in our group. My little peanut demonstrated off lead down stay with me walking far away from her for several long minutes. Daisy on recall, flew across the training area and climbed up into my arms for a hug.

Willow will be 2 years old in November and we have had her since she was 10 weeks old. I was hoping things would get better as she got older but they seem to be getting worse. Today when my son was holding her I went to stroke her and she went to bite me. She often shows her teeth, normally when food is involved or sometimes when she is enjoying a fuss. She has loads of exercise, 2 or 3 good walks a day, plenty of playtime with her beloved tennis ball. I stopped hide chews a long time ago on the advice of Jan as she was very protective of them. When visitors come to our home she isnt very friendly unless its someone she knows well and then she's fine. I think its only a matter of time before someone gets bitten by her, I'm beginning to feel nervous around her myself. Help please if anyone has been in a similar situation. Thanks Val x

Thank you so much, everything going to plan a few minor hiccoughs - nothing too stressful. not sure how I feel at the mo. Was excited when choosing dress etc. but it just feels like the right thing. Have an awful feeling that i will turn up at the ceremony with red eyes though, always cry when I am emotional. : D.

Will try and get back on Sunday (if my head permits it) to let you know how it went.

Amanda.x

Daniel's results (13 replies)

Dan had his gcse results today, got b's and c's in the subjects he took this year (he's 15) which is huge surprise because he's the sort of kid that school is a nuisance for and just interferes with his xbox time! So i am very pleased and might point out to him that if he actually "tries" next year he could do a lot better, lol. His dad doesnt know yet but i think he will be pleased as both of us failed miserably at exams (except i got 'o' level art, the only thing i liked about school). Anyway i feel a treat for him coming on :0)

4 months old Bruce (12 replies)

We have our first JR Bruce he is 4 months old and he is great fun. Apart from night time when he wakes unless we sleep in the same room as him. We are not keen on this arrangement but it's getting worse. I have read the various suggestions about getting a pen but I do not think this is going to help. He is very happy to sleep in his basket in the utility room but once he wakes normally in the early hours he will not settle until we are with him. We have tried leaving him to cry but he is now upsetting the neighbours when we do. Just to add he is exercised daily and have also tried to walk him just before bed time but this has made little difference. Any advice greatfully received.
