Last week was awful. Bramble was very sick, vomiting everywhere on Tuesday after her walk. We think she picked something up in the bushes (something rotten). She has the constitution of an ox, so although we chastise her when she picks horrible things up and eats them, she doesn't usually have a bad reaction. But she wouldn't eat and didn't eat anything properly until Friday morning. We had had her to the vets the week before for something totally unrelated and she had received an antibiotic injection, so I just monitored her progress carefully and made sure she took in lots of boiled, cooled water. What a worry. She slept the clock around most of the time and was not herself at all. Thankfully by Friday afternoon (which was to the the day I was going to take her back to the vet), she picked up and was virtually back to normal.

She was such a worry. But suffice it to say, I now have my cheeky, naughty, lovable Bramble back. Thank you God!!

It's such a relief then when they turn round and do something naughty isn't it. Not that Bramble would be properly naughty I'm sure LOL. Glad she's back to normal.

Jack Russells really are the easiest dog to look after - all they ask is a warm bed, a kind word, a good meal - and total world domination!

Aw bless bramble, it so hard when they're poorly as i'm sure they know just how to turn on those sad eyes at times.

A dog is for life!

It's time to show the world that more of us support our troops than don't! Remember, if you don't stand behind our troops, then please feel free to stand in front of them.

She knew exactly how to get the sympathy vote, and she loves cuddles so she just lapped it all up. But she was very poorly. And Fiona, just for the record Bramble is an extremely naughty little madam - very pushy, very full on, boisterous and gorgeous. We love her sooo much I don't know what we would have done if anything had happened to her.
