Age: 3
Gender: Female
Neutered: Yes
Good with kids?
Yes - brilliant. As a long legged Jack though, I would not home her with a small toddler simply because she is liable to knock them down in play when she gets over excited.
Good with other dogs and cats?
Yes - she loves running about with other dogs, any size, any breed, she is even ok with cats and doesn't even bother about them.
All about Nellie
Due to a change in circumstances (i.e. broken back), I can no longer keep Nellie. I just cannot give her the time and exercise she needs.
Nellie is not a typical terrier, she is quite calm and loves nothing more than snuggling up to you at every opportunity, she has been spoilt rotten since she was 7 weeks old. She loves going for walks and running so you will need an enclosed garden.
She has been spayed, she is due for her boosters and has recently had the kennel cough vaccination.
She is great with kids but because she is quite solid and can get boisterous I wouldn't rehome her with a small child/ toddler. She wouldn't bite them or anything like that but like all Jacks she does like jumping up and down.
She needs to be re-homed with someone who is home most of the day, as she has had me 24/7 since she was 7 weeks old. Being left for most of the day would not suit her.
Her favourite toys are teddy bears, she likes to rip the limbs off and get the stuffing out! I buy her's from charity shops which is a cheap way of doing things. She eats a dry food only, 'James Wellbeloved'. A 15kg bag will last Nellie about 6 months.
